Difference between sick care and health care
Have you ever looked up the definitions of “health,” “care” and “sick?”
Health: The state of being free of illness or injury
Care: to look after or provide the needs of
Sick: Affected by physical, chemical or mental illness
Is “healthcare” (as we know it) really taking care of one’s health? Based on the above definitions, obviously not. It’s “sick” care. Chiropractic helps patients prevent sickness and focuses on staying healthy through holistic practices. Unlike medications, chiropractic is not about treating symptoms, it iss about finding the cause of the symptoms and treating those. Dr. Dustin understands there is a difference between getting well and staying well. He was drawn to chiropractic care because it focuses on health versus sick.
Where we see patients thriving and most satisfied is when regular, routine Chiropractic Wellness Care is the cornerstone to their healthcare. Not only does getting adjusted on a regular basis reduce severity and frequency of pain-related episodes, it also helps you feel better in general.
